MicroOhm MI 3250 is portable low resistance ohmmeter for measuring low resistances of breakers and switches, busbars, cable joints, small to medium sized transformer and motor windings for industrial application, etc., with test current up to 10 A.

Portable RCD's type K; S; B, as well as most of electronic controlled extension leads can only be switched ON and tested when they are connected to the mains.
In case we already have RCD protection with equal nominal current (as the one we want to test) for primary protection of the object it can happen that we would trip out the main RCD instead of the one we would like to test.
To avoid tripping out of the main RCD, Metrel has built into its latest version of MI 3310 SigmaGT and MI 3309 DeltaGT testers the added functionality that allows performing tests of the above mentioned special equipment directly on the instrument (no external adaptors are needed ).
In comparison with other similar PAT testers MI 3310 SigmaGT has got the additional ACTIVE POLARITY function which enables user to build automatic test sequence that consist of Earth bond, insulation, leakage current, polarity and PRCD - test.
