I would like to send an instrument for repair to Metrel. What is the procedure?
In the unlikely event that you must return your Metrel product for repair, you must first obtain an RMA number from Metrel. You can apply for a RMA number in the internet by requesting the RMA number online. After filling in and sending us the RMA form you will receive your RMA number via e-mail. You can also download the fax form and request the RMA number by fax, in which case the RMA number will be forwarded to you by fax. A RMA number is valid for one month only and may not be used at a later date. Please therefore, only request RMA numbers for those instrument which will be sent in the immediate future.
How long does the repair take?
3-4 days are normally needed to repair an instrument. After you have received the RMA number, the status of your instument (Metrel has received the instument, the instrument has been repaired, the instrument has been calibrated, the instrument is ready for dispatch) can be checked on our website.
When is your warranty complaint unjustified?
The complaint is unjustified when the failure is a consequence of not following the user instructions.
