The MI 3298 Power Network Application Trainer consists of two modules; MI 3298 P1 Earth/Ground trainer module and the MI 3298 T Transformer/Insulation resistance trainer module. The first one simulates a four-legged power distribution pylon, together with the ground it is erected upon and a ground wire (for PGWT measurement). The second one on the other hand represents a typical power transformer and can be connected to the first module, forming a simple simulated substation. Moreover, due to the “puzzle” design an arbitrary number of modules can be interconnected to simulate a variety of power network configurations.
