Field of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) testing is evolving quickly and is slowly transcending the requirements of electrical installation safety. List of new requirements is constantly growing and now also includes the need to troubleshoot EVSE during the charging process itself.
The A 1631 EV monitoring cable 32 A is designed especially for monitoring communication between the charged vehicle and EVSE, mainly in conjunction with A 1632 eMobility Analyser. It can also be connected to a power quality analyser (e.g. MI 2883 Energy Master) for current and voltage verification and supports simulation of an external load (up to 13 A) via integrated banana plugs to verify EVSE counters.
