NEW product: A 1631 EV monitoring cable 32 A

Field of electric vehicle charging station (EVSE) testing is evolving quickly and is slowly transcending the requirements of electrical installation safety and venturing in the realm of PAT (portable appliance testing) and machine testing, driving development of new testing and measuring equipment designed to meet these requirements. There is also a need for troubleshooting during the charging process itself, i.e. when the vehicle is connected to the EVSE.
The A 1631 EV monitoring cable 32 A was designed especially for that monitoring communication between the charged vehicle and EVSE, mainly in conjunction with A 1632 eMobility Analyser. Monitoring functions (during AC EV charging with up to 32 A) include:
  • Current
  • Voltage
  • PP resistance
  • CP signal communication *
* Note: Requires A 1632 eMobility Analyser and MI 3152 EurotestXC or MI 3155 EurotestXD.
The A 1631 EV monitoring cable 32 A can also be connected to a power quality analyser (e.g. MI 2883 Energy Master) for current and voltage verification and supports simulation of an external load (up to 13 A) via integrated banana plugs to verify EVSE counters.

Contact your designated area sales manager for more information about availability and price of A 1631 EV monitoring cable 32 A.
