S 2110 Safety Module with light barrier sensor
The S 2110 Safety Module with light barrier sensor is designed for integration in testing applications with emphasis on fast workflow – i.e. where most safety mechanism, particularly of a mechanical type, would be too obstructive. Light curtain as used by the module is an elegant solution for open (without doors) testing cabinets / cages used for high volume testing where the user has to quickly replace tested objects. Safety mechanism, connected to the light curtain, engages at every start of testing procedure and immediately disconnects the entire safety module from the rest of the testing / production line if an object (user’s hand, tool etc.) crosses the light curtain.

The user also has the option of immediately terminating operation with a manual STOP switch, which should be installed within easy reach. Part of the module accessory package is also the START switch for restarting the testing process once the fault or potentially dangerous situation is corrected and it’s safe to continue working.
The S 2110 Safety Module with light barrier sensor will be launched together with other parts of the EOL testing suite.
