Encouraging users to change software preferences

We are dedicated to constant improvement in every aspect of our work, ranging from R&D, manufacturing processes, sales and services and lastly, our products. This includes both physical products and software and mobile applications, which are an inseparable part of comprehensive measuring solutions we offer for specific applications. Software and applications are especially subject to continuous upgrading due to the evolving nature of the testing & measuring industry and the ease of doing that (in comparison with hardware modifications). Though, in some cases it is more prudent to create an entirely new product that transcends any inherent limitations of the base platform.
We are talking about Metrel Electrical Safety Manager (MESM) PC software, which is our premiere software solution for a growing number of products. It offers unprecedented versatility, intuitive user interface for enhanced user experience and upgradeability (support for new instruments, measuring and testing procedures, report formats, languages etc.). Still, despite all the advantages of MESM many users continue using older, less versatile software like the EuroLink. A capable software, but falls short in comparison with MESM when it comes to functionality and many other aspects.

These users, particularly the new ones that are unsure, which software is best for their needs, should be advised and guided to use the MESM (unless they are using older, unsupported instruments). Simply put, MESM is our standard software solution and will likely remain so for the time being, while the continuous development of EuroLink is limited by the constraints of base software platform, designed for older operating systems - i.e. we have stopped upgrading it (EuroLink) and are not planning to add any new functionalities.
