Metrel PQA: FW and SW Updates

Constant improvement is one of the pillars of Metrel’s corporate philosophy, and one of the reasons why we are, among other, regularly improving existing products and associated firmware and software. That of course includes our power quality analysers.

Firmware updates:
For MI 2883 Energy Master, MI 2884 Energy Master XA, MI 2885 Master Q4, MI 2892 Power Master, MI 2893 Power Master XT:
- Upgraded Latvian and German localisation.
- Low limit current evaluation under connection check changed to 3 %.
- Removed Iseq from connection check.
- Rotation field sign used for Useq.
- Connection setup selection moved to the top.
- Phase angle evaluation under connection check (added yellow sign for phase angles between 60⁰ and 90⁰).
For MI 2885 Master Q4, MI 2892 Power Master, MI 2893 Power Master XT:
- Added PV probe ratio for INV1W & INV3W connection.

Software (SW 0802 PowerView3) updates:
- Tan Φ evaluation added to EN 50160 report.
- Current presentation with plus/minus sign.
- Added new calculation mode for current unbalance (Korean report).

New firmware updates for the listed power quality analysers and SW 0802 PowerView3 updates can be downloaded through the SW 0802 PowerView3 download server.
