Finding bad connections in lightning systems with high current testing

Few high current impedance measuring instruments are as versatile as the MI 3144 Euro Z 800 V, which has an added benefit of dual mode of operation: standalone (remote control with an Android mobile device) or in conjunction with MI 3155 EurotestXD, MI 3152 EurotestXC, MI 3152H EurotestXC 2.5 kV or MI 3325 MultiServicerXD. Though, there are other equally or even more important features that make the job easier for both sporadic users that use the instrument once or twice per month to consummate professionals using them on a daily basis.
One of those features is of course portability (thanks to a cleverly designed generator unit). This makes the MI 3144 Euro Z 800 V, amongst other, suitable for checking the connections on lightning systems on buildings. The user can easily move with the instrument from one part of the building to the other, measuring voltage drops on any metal constructions, straps, cables and screens connected to the lightning/grounding system along the way with the help of A 1609 1-phase flexible current clamp.
