Class S power quality analysers

Power Quality Analysis

Power quality is a broad term that traditionally encompasses voltage, frequency and waveform of a power supply system and how well or poor they conform to established specifications. Poor power quality translates to inefficient and even dangerous operation of supplied electrical systems and may lead to damage to connected equipment and risk of fire or electrocution and loss of production.

Metrel offers class S power quality analysers that are suitable for low level troubleshooting of electrical systems and selected equipment and long term recording of power quality events. Recorded events like voltage dips, swells, sags, harmonic and interharmonic components and others can then be uploaded to a PC for further analysis and report creation.
